We welcome you to this cosy, vintage chalet, l'Olan, facing “La Muzelle” mountain, an ideal setting for sharing time with family and friends.
The large south-facing terrace is perfect for sunbathing, with views of the mountains. The exceptional location in a residential area of the resort is complemented by 800 m² of private grounds. Children can play outside in complete safety, and you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
With a total surface area of 235 m², the chalet has a large living room of 40 m² with a dining room and lounge for unforgettable evenings out in the resort. Partying is another part of the DNA of Les Deux Alpes, with its lively bars and musical events like the Rise Festival in December.
Located in Les Deux Alpes, in the Isère region, at the gateway to the Ecrins National Park, Chalet l'Olan, as the name of an iconic summit of the Oisans area, was built in 1968 by Dr Jean-Gabriel Fournier in an exceptional setting. His hope was to welcome his family here, to whom he wanted to introduce them to the mountains.

A keen mountaineer and skier, he spent his spare time at the chalet with his wife and 2 sons, Jean-Pierre and Jack. They were to become ski instructors. Jack settled in the famous international resort all year round. When he wasn't instructing, he divided his time between cycling and writing. He is the author of the book ‘Raconte-moi les Deux Alpes’.
Since 2000, Jack has kept up the family tradition by making the chalet available to all mountain lovers, whatever the season. It is now Dorothée, accompanied by her children and husband, who continues this tradition of hospitality.

Snowshoeing or walking with Jérôme
​A mountain leader who has lived in Oisans for over 20 years, Jérôme will help you discover the most beautiful spots in the resort and the surrounding area. Walks and snowshoe hikes for all levels.
As curator of the Lauvitel integral reserve in the Ecrins National Park and now a research engineer at the CNRS ecology institute and manager of the Jardin du Lautaret, I'm lucky enough to be particularly familiar with the rich natural heritage of Les 2 Alpes and the surrounding villages.

The trails of the Oisans hold no secrets for me and I'd be delighted to put together a ‘tailor-made’ outing to suit your level and expectations. On foot or with snowshoes, follow in the footsteps of wolves or rock ptarmigan, discover the flora, visit a mountain hut, brush up against glaciers, meet a shepherd and his flock, spend a festive evening in one of the typical Oisans restaurants. Whether you're a keen sportsman or a contemplative enthusiast, we look forward to seeing you soon.
Skiing, ski touring, snowshoe trekking, visits of the local patrimony with Dorothée
Dorothée is a native of the resort and a qualified ski instructor affiliated to the ESF (French ski school) in Les Deux Alpes. She'll take you, your family and your friends on some extraordinary outings.
A gentle introduction to skiing, the desire to help your children discover the joys of the slopes, learning is gradual and adapted to each child's temperament and pace. If you're tempted to go off-piste in one of the most emblematic areas of the resort or the Oisans, on skis or snowshoes, we'll prepare the outing together. Don't hesitate to book your private lessons with me.
I'm a doctor in sport sciences (history and regional planning specialist) and I'm also keen to help you discover how the resort has evolved. On skis, snowshoes or on foot, let's go in search of clues: buildings, edifices... so that behind these vestiges we can perceive the history of the individuals and groups who have shaped the landscape here.

Skiing in Les Deux Alpes means a magical descent from an altitude of 3,600 metres to 1,600 metres and unique snow conditions from the first flakes of December until spring.

For a tandem paragliding flight, rafting down the Romanche, mountain biking or snowkiting with a qualified instructor, an introduction to laser rifles... an overnight stay in a refuge, a raclette meal at dusk, we call on our partner service providers.
